World History and Geography

This year-long course explores different civilizations and globally interconnected systems around the world. Although it aims to be a survey course in world history, it does not necessarily follow the standard chronological order and geographical map usually found in history textbooks. Rather, the course will touch upon different themes that help promote a better understanding of how various historical forces, such as cultural, social, and political events, shaped the development of civilizations and global interconnections.
Students will be led through history via project-based instruction.
