AUGUST 3-7 HOGS AND WARTs
Camps at Santa Cruz Learning Center start on Mondays. Due to COVID, we will need to keep two groups (A and B) separate. See this packet for more information about COVID day camp regulations.
Drop off each day is at 10am at 501 Cedar Street on the second floor. You can either in the back parking lot or in front of the building on Cedar Street. We will meet you there and lead you to the appropriate group and entrance. On the first day, we will line up outside. After that, you can just send your kid into their classroom entrance. Please line up at the bottom of either side of the stairs with the appropriate social distancing of 6ft. Each child will have their temperature taken each morning.
Pick up is either at the Cowells beach in the front of the bathrooms in the parking lot at 3pm, to the right of the wharf's entrance. OR at 4pm at the Learning Center (where drop off is).
To bring each day for camp:
1) A lunch big enough to have a snack too
2) Water (put their name on it with tape if they have a water bottle)
3) Sunscreen (apply this the morning you come to camp and then we will have them reapply in the afternoon)
4) Swim Suit or Trunks (please have them come to camp wearing their suit)
5) Their camp shirt (we will distribute these on the first day)
6) Change of clothes (for the bottom so that they can change after swimming if they want)
7) A towel with their name on it somewhere
Here are some other items you may want to send with your child to camp:
-Mask (to cover your face during the indoor time)
-Hat (label it with tape on the brim)
-Lifejacket (we have plenty of life jackets to share if you don't own one)
-Boogie board (only if you're comfortable with your child boogie boarding at camp). They will have to carry the board during the walk to the beach.
-Spring suit or wetsuit
-Goggles and/or Snorkle (for exploring at the river)
