$45 per class. You can try out the class before you sign up. Once you know you want to join, we ask that you commit for at least one month at a time.

This class is for kids ages 5-12. We invite homeschool students along with kids who go to Santa Cruz elementary schools that have early release on Wednesdays. Contact us to discuss the possibility of being picked up after school (usually between 12-12:30pm).
The main goal of this course is to play in nature while learning science, and perhaps meeting new friends!

- Flora and fauna identification
- How to spot poison oak in all different seasons
- What makes up an animal’s habitat?
- Respiration
- Photosynthesis
- Non-native vs invasive vs native species
- Ecological communities
- Food chains and food webs
- What do different animals eat? Different types of consumers.
- Characteristics of life
